Angelite meaning
Angelite is a fairly new crystal, discovered in 1987 in Peru. It is a variety of Anhydrite. Anhydrite is from the Greek word “anhydrous” meaning “without water”. Named angelite due to it’s ability to assist with communicating with angels.
What does angelite look like?
Angelite is a translucent crystal (can see light but not shapes through it), it is a pale greyish blue in colour.
What is angelite used for?
Angelite is often used to create jewellery, either shaped into cabochons or beads. Tumbled stones are also available in various sizes. This crystal can be found shaped into various forms, most commonly, eggs, spheres and hearts.
Cleansing and charging angelite
